On airplane

  • Palm Springs International Airport (IATA: PSP) located three kilometers east of Palm Springs, has daily flights to San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix, Chicago, Dallas / Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis / Saint Paul, Denver, Portland (Oregon), Las Vegas, Calgary and Vancouver. Airlines operating in Palm Springs are Alaska, America West, American Eagle, Delta and American United. 
  • Bermuda Dunes Airport (IATA: UDD) is located 24 kilometers east of the city, and is one of the two closest general aviation airports to the city. This airport is accessible by private airplanes. Private jet rental services are available at this airport by Desert Jet. 

By Car

  • Interstate 10 is the main artery serving the Coachella Valley. From Los Angeles, take Interstate 10 eastward to San Bernardino, India, and Phoenix. It's a two-hour journey if traffic isn't too heavy. Be careful, weekend traffic can be very heavy. When you leave Monterey Avenue or Cook Street and head south, you are in the heart of the city.
  • 74 state road comes down from the mountains of San Jacinto to the city from the south. Coming from San Diego must head north along I-15 on the southeast of state road 79 (towards India) and then east along state road 371 until it reachesRoute 74. Travelers are reported to be required on this winter route.
